Student Submission Guidelines

The Dragon Echo encourages students to share their creative abilities and voice their opinions.   We invite all students to send their submissions for consideration for our print and online publications of The Dragon Echo in the following categories:  opinion, guest article, letter to the editor, creative writing, and visual art.

The Dragon Echo Staff, along with the newspaper adviser, will review all student submissions before acceptance for publication.   The Dragon Echo staff reserves the right to reject any submissions that do not follow the following guidelines:

• Submissions must be signed by the author(s); anonymous articles will not be published
• Submissions must remain within 250-500 words (for print editions only)
• Submissions must follow The Dragon Echo’s Editorial Policy and Comment Policy
• Students must be willing to make any revisions to their article as needed
  • Submissions will be edited for grammar, clarity, and length
  • Submissions will be edited to adhere to the AP stylebook rules
